When I was asked to make this cake, I had never heard of Monster High. Apparently, it’s a tv series about high school vampires or something like that? Anyway, I didn’t want to make something dark and dreary because it was for a young girl so I decided to match the invitation instead. This is a chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. The decorations are all fondant. The Monster High logo is hand made and was a pain in the rear to make. The candle on top was provided by the mother of the birthday girl.
