Am I the only one who names their cakes??? ;) (well my hubby named this one!)

Jay’s mum had seen a fab dino cake made by Zoe of The Merry Cake Company (that I’d shared on my page) and asked me to make a similar cake for Jay. She didn’t want it to be too cute though so I tried to use ‘realistic’ colours, I still think he’s super cute though ;) ha. Thanks Zoe for letting me use your cake as a starting point :)

I don’t have an airbrush so he’s handpainted and made entirely of cake.

Great cake!!! The texture on the dino looks great! Did you use a pebble embossing mat for it?

Thanks ladies. Yes Marlene I did, then I smoothed it over so it wasn’t too deep. I also embossed with a piping nozzle to add a little more texture and the side of a wilton tool lol!
