A friend asked for a joint birthday cake for her son and daughter whose birthdays are a few days apart. Liam was turning 3 and wanted The Gruffalo and Tess, turning 5 wanted Hello Kitty, i had no idea how i was going to combine the two themes but this is what i came up with! im really pleased with how the two themes have came together on the one cake. Everything is edible with all the decorations being made with modelling chocolate and gumpaste.
