It was so much fun to create the gumpaste makeup and spa mask for this cake! It truly reminded me of when I was a little girl and used to play with makeup! I wanted to eye shadows to look like the shimmery, glittery eye shadows I used to wear when I played dress-up! I used dry luster dust for a powdery, realistic effect. So fun to do! I laughed as I hand-placed each of the individual sugar pearls around the bottom of the cake. I have zero patience for much of anything…but placing each tiny pearl was actually therapeutic…haha! The entire cake is vegan. Chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream. Thanks for looking <3
