Whimsical Birthday Cake

Cake by smokwa posted 398 days ago 671 views 2 times favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites

This was the first whimsical type of cake I’ve ever done and boy, what fun! My client supplied me with a picture of a cake that I found out was “SweetCakers”! She is so talented that I was afraid that I would never be able to pull something similar off. I’m definitely not up to the caliber that she is, but I tried my best! Oh, and I got to try out Fondarific’s Chocolate Cherry flavored fondant. I made the little cherries out of it, then covered them with a thin layer of red vanilla fondant for color. It makes for a sweet surprise when you bite into them! :) TFL!
