The Owl Tree

I think I have an obsession with owls…

This cake was inspired by two things. The owl on top was adapted from my daughter’s “Jellycat” owl teddy and the design on the cake is taken from a wall decal that I have in my little girl’s room. The decal I think is called Scroll Tree or something similar.

Sadly, the light had faded by the time this one was finished so the photo isn’t all that great. Anyway, it’s a 6” & 4” chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.
