The design for this cake was inspired by a piece of bridal lace. I have used brush embroidery and pressure piping to apply the design. The middle tier is painted with silver lustre.The hand-crafted sugar flowers are open peonies with sugar veil attached to each petal to create fullness and Lilly of the Valley. Applique flowers with sugar veil are used to decorate the tiers.
