More Minecraft!...Arghhhhh!
Minecraft is the most popular game with youngsters in my area it would seem! This is my 756th Minecraft cake…ok, I exaggerate, but it feels like it ;) I tried to do the grass cube this time for a change. This cake has inspired me to finally bite the bullet and start ganaching instead of crumb coating my cakes, had a trial run this week so hopefully my edges are about to get a whole lot better! Haha…hopefully ;) This week, guess what?…I’m making another Minecraft cake…“noooooooooo!”

I have a bunch of Minecraft toppers ready for next week even an iron gollum (my girls inform me thats what its called !) . I dont know if I will tackle all of the individual squares but yours look so good x

Excellent job Mel!! Thankfully ive only had the privilage to make one of these. But I know I will be asked to make another in the future cos its popular here too. My middle son is mad on it! :-)

Looks great! Isn’t ganache amazing. I can never go back to buttercream. I was never really a buttercream girl anyway but ganache sealed the deal.
Lot of work there all those squares. I wonder what will my reaction be if someday someone ask me to do a minecraft cake.
