What fun I had doing this cake…..right up until the part I realized I didn’t have an airbrush. So, I had to hand paint and shade the whole cake. A lot of work, but well worth it in the end. Bottle is made out of rice cereal treats and painted, then I used confectioners glaze to keep it shiney. I custom made the label, to match the recipient’s last name and birthday. “Spilled whiskey” is made out of poured sugar. All writing on the barrel cake is painted on with royal icing.
