I made this cake & cupcake tower as a surprise treat for the teachers and staff at the school where my son teaches 5th grade. French vanilla cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling. Covered in marshmallow fondant. The cupcakes are dark chocolate with buttercream frosting. I was inspired by Peggy Does Cake’s (isn’t everyone) flower border on her unicorn cake. I also used Royal Bakery’s tutorial to make the little flower pot. Thanks Lesley! Spring letters cut out with exacto knife, and the robin, nest, and egg cut out with my cricut cake. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Becky! It was a hit with my son’s fellow teachers. He thought it would be too pretty for them to cut, but when he had a break and came to get a piece of cake it was all gone!
