I took part in the Dublin Sugarcraft show over the weekend and this was my entry for the Masterclass novelty category – I chose to make glamorous accessories for a lady attending Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) festivities . Delighted to say I took away a silver and Best in Class award. All of the design on the bag (which has chocolate fudge cake inside) and interior and exterior of the shoes is hand painted. The show was fantastic, so well organised and so many wonderful cake entries. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now back to reality and the next cake!
