This cake was ordered and made within 24 hours. I love making sugar flowers and decorations, however when butterflies can be made in wafer paper I really cannot see the point in making them in sugar. The wafer paper decorations made this rush order stress free. The cake is finished in buttercream and the wafer paper adhered to it beautifully.

Gorgeous! I was wondering how wafer paper would do on buttercream. What kind of buttercream do you use? Is yours an SMBC?
