Penguin Party

I made this cake for my mother in law’s retirement party. She adores penguins and loved this cake. I got the design idea from several members of the cakecentral.com website and put my own touches on it.

The base cake was a chocolate cake with BC icing. The igloo was a white cake with BC and an outer layer of mini marshmallows cut in half. The trees were sugar cones with BC and the penguins were fondant. The pool was made of decorator gel and several items were brushed with white glitter dust. Finally the slide was a RK covered in BC.
