Hi Annie,
I love this cake!
A lovely lady asked me to make a nautical cake for her son’s first birthday. She really likes the boat and the drops of water on your cake. I’d like to ask your permission to recreate the look of your boat (I’ll change it up a little bit) and the drops of water. The cake is for this weekend (Nov 12).
May I?
Stephanie

Thank you so much Annie!!! I believe in respecting other cakers’ hard work and creativity and since it was easy to find out who this lovely cake belonged to I had to ask.
I’ll message you next weekend so you can see it. I’m taking inspiration from two cakes, one being yours and then adding my personal touches on it. I’m puzzled as to how to attach the sails to the boat though???
Thanks again and have a great day!
Stephanie
