chocolate chip cake with meringue icing

I made this cake in my cake decorating class today. The cake and frosting taste great. But i did not like the texture of the frosting. It was kind of hard to work with. It loose it consistency pretty fast. But i had a great time at class. And i am really exited because next week we will be learning how to work with fondant and gum paste. So exited i cant wait.
