This is my first attempt at a round cake so please excuse the “not so round” baseball :) My daughter thought it would be nice to do a baseball cake, and I had a different design in my head, but she convinced me to try this. I had not planned on this, because I baked 4 cakes to stack and decorate differently … But she said why not just make it simple and do a baseball for the cake. What she meant was do a round, flat cake and do the stitching in that!! Wow, we miscommunicated! Oh, well, my Son-In-Law loved it and so did she and that’s all that matters. (and as you can see, I got my fingerprints on the board :(
