Kodiak Fishing Cake

Fondant and gumpaste decorations. I didn’t want a typical round cake so I cut pieces off of it to give it a unique look.

Really cute! How did you achieve that texture on your bear?

Ty everyone! The bear was my favorite part too, I kind of didn’t want to part with it lol. I used a curved clay tool I got, not sure exactly what it’s called. But you can use anything with a pointy end like a toothpick, Than I just picked and pulled at the fondant till I was happy, no particular way. Pretty much the same way I did the grass.

Jessica he is soo cute! He didn’t look like you did him using a scissor. He looks like a little teddy bear face. I would have had a hard time too letting him go.

Thank you for answering my question!
