This was my first go at making a tea cup and saucer. I used a mix of fondant and sugar paste, dried it for 24 hrs then hand painted the pattern on it, then left it another 24 hrs before using it alongside the book themed cake.
I copied the pattern of the flowers on the cup from a Cath Kidston mug I have, and have to say I love it.
A beautiful vintage themed 40th party for my lovely friend :)
