Halo 3

This is for a young man who is turning 9 and who loves to play Halo3. The cake has been iced with black buttercream (yes! Black!) I was kind of freaking out as I iced the cake. I couldn’t believe I would actually do this, but I think it worked. I followed the Halo 3 logo to come up with the color scheme. The ‘Master Chief’, helmet was sculpted with rkt then covered with fondant. The writing has been piped on with buttercream. This was all done, on a 10” cake.
