This snake cake was made for a little boy who was having an animal handler at his party, bringing a selection of snakes, lizards and baby crocodiles! I was asked to make the cake as realistic as possible and for it not to be cute! The cake was hand carved, an impression mat was used for the snake skin texture and the whole thing was hand painted to finish off.
