This cake was done at the last minute for my mother-in-law. My father-in-law is the pastor at our church and his wife (my mom-in-law) plays the piano every Sunday. I thought this would be nice, small and fitting for her birthday :)
Vanilla bean sponge cake on the bottom and chocolate fudge cake on top. Covered in Satin Ice fondant. Edible sugar diamonds as accents, flowers are real (I ran out of time to make them) and the black keys were painted with a little bit of gum paste dissolved in water to give them a glossy effect.
