So, I am not that bright. I also don’t function well on little sleep anymore. :/

This is a cake I made for the daughter of a good friend of mine. She just turned 11 yesterday and always has a fun idea for her cake. I was excited when she said she wanted a moustache cake. I sent her Mom some pictures of moustache shapes to choose from and she decided on “The Strongman”, a beefy kind of moustache (makes sense considering the name). They came to pick-up the cake and they were thrilled, it was a hit and the birthday girl had a great party.

It wasn’t until after they left and I was looking at a picture that I realized I had the curly-q part of the ‘stache going in the wrong direction. OOOOOOPS! I was looking at the picture and literally wanted to pick up the halves and get them going in the right direction. Now all I see are comma’s and apostrophe’s that someone marked with all sorts of lines, ha ha. I may need a do-over on this one. :)

Anyhoo, before I realized what I had done, I quite liked it (the picture really does not do it justice – and now I bet all you see are those comma’s and apostrophe’s! ;) ). The most important thing is that the birthday girl was happy and had a great day! All’s well that ends well.
