This was a 13th birthday cake for a little girl at my church. She just loves Yorkie puppies and I’d seen Anne Heap do this type of cake before and was just so excited to give it a whirl. All of the fur was made from fondant textured with a veining tool. The nose was moistened with some gum paste diluted in water and brushed on to give it a wet look. Head was RKT under fondant and the bow around the neck was actual ribbon.
