I loved getting this request for this cake as I had so wanted to try out my new Marvelous mold. Yes I need a little more practice at it that is for sure as I did not quite end up getting an exact join but it definately was nice to not have to cut the chevron out by hand. The cake design was made to match invitations. I made the top tier to be like a build a bear fashion spread with all the latest clothes on display and her name in a coat hanger as they are so relevant to theme.

Thank you so much Christy and cakeldy you guys are always so wonderful. Too Lori-Ann and Pauline you really should get these they are fabulous. The only thing was that my fondant roller was broke so it did not go as quickly as I had hoped as I had to roll it by hand and I do not think I had it quite the thickness it should have been. Like everything in the cake world it is a science and we just have to be smart enough to get thru it. I do not always get thru the easy way that is for sure.
