My first wedding cake for one of the girls, all eggless. For a masquerade wedding, she wanted a figurine of her hubby to be holding a rose in his mouth and kneeling, and it to be blues but last minute changed it to turquoises(i added a bit of green and blue), i think the hubby looks just about kneeling the details are all hand done no moulds. I know it’s a pretty simple cake but it didn’t feel like it, twas the most stressful and nightmarish week ever lol. Inspired by her dress (obviously lol) but also a cake i saw on cakesdecor with the boldness in colours, once i remember the name i’ll post it. I’m in the last picture tired as hell i was so close to giving up, but so glad i didn’t

Brilliant job! Perfectly matches the dress!
I have my first ever wedding cake order for March. I think we stress more over them because its their big day and the cake is such a big part that has to be perfect :)

exactly Christine, i honestly thought i was going to throw in the towel with cakes during that week. But it was the most amazing feeling!!!!!!!! worth every tear and sleepless night i can’t wait for my next wedding cake (we’ll add a hint of dread to that too lol)
