This is the christmas cake I made for my family this year, it was my first christmas at home without my mum , so I wanted to make a cake that would say a little happy christmas to her too, she was the most amazing cook and baker but never got to see my cakes, I wanted it to be a pure, innocent and a happy cake, I tried to capture the feeling of the little angel and mice looking up to heaven wishing her a beautiful christmas, I chose little mice because when I was little my dad always used to play me a little italian" topolino" song and it used to make me laugh which in turn always made her laugh! I hope you like it and I hope all you lovely cake ladies had a wonderful christmas!!! big hug :-) x
