Ellie, he turned out so adorable! I love how you did the beard! I was thinking of getting Lesley’s tutorial, and now I see I am going to have to get it for next year for Christmas because your cake turned out so cute! Everything is perfect, right down to the cake board and ribbon!

Thank you Goreti! Thank you Elli and thank you for "favorite"ing my cake and Merry Christmas to you! Thanks Toni! It was really pretty easy to do! Lesley uses a circle cutter and frills it for the beard. She said it took her about 2 hours to do the beard. I used medium size flower cutter from the 3 piece set from Wilton. It frilled them and it only took me about a half an hour to do the beard! So I was happy! Thanks again Toni for your sweet compliment!

Very cute Santa! I love Santa’s beard!;) Merry Christmas!;)

Great cake Ellie and great idea to use the rose cutter instead of just a circle cutter! Will need to remember that if I ever need to do these type of scrunch ruffles. Bet your family was ecstatic with the cake. Merry Christmas to you and your family =D

Thanks Violet!!! Yes the rose cutter made fast work of the beard! Mine isn’t as full as Lesley’s but I think it turned out OK! Hope you and your family have wonderful Christmas too!
