I made this cake for a little boy who’s turning 10 today. The cake was donated through Icing Smiles – a wonderful organization that provides cakes for children who are ill and their sibblings. This was my first attempt at making a guitar – It had its challenges, but overall, I was pleased with the end result. I added an amplifier so they would have more cake. This was a vanilla cream-cheese cake with a vanilla buttercream filling. Decorations were handmade with a 50/50 combination of gumpaste and fondant.
