In Italy, every christmas time we always celebrate with panettone or pandoro. It’s like a sweet bread…Panettone is sweet bread with candied fruit and raisin…instead pandoro it’s just plain but they are different taste.

This year i will not celebrate my christmas time in Italy, i will back to my home country (Indonesia) for holiday….so i just want to give a gift to my parents in law….and i couldn’t make a cake for them to keep until christmas time…because next week i already back. So this sweet bread is a perfect gift that i thought will be nice to give to them and they can keep it until christmas time to celebrate with the brothers of my husband.

I saw in the bakery and cake shop they already display many panettone decorated….but i didn’t like the design…they all look the same…i want something special and finally this is my first Christmas Panettone that i designed for my parents in law. I really enjoy to made it. I didn’t cover it all with fondant because i like the texture of the panettone and i love this way.
