This custom-order was a special request cake, as an Anniversary gift. It is a tribute art piece inspired by Terry Pratchett’s amazing fiction “Discworld”. This sculpture is of the “A’Tuin”, the giant turtle who floats through deep space with four huge elephants atop his shell, who bear the Discworld on their backs. Waterfall around edge of disc is gelatin, rainbows are solid gumpaste. The underside and fins, head, tail are a food-safe board covered in gumpaste, sculpted and hand-painted This creation was filled with Chocolate Mint Grasshopper cake filled with Chocolate Cookie Crumble with Dark Chocolate Mint Buttercream, and was covered with more Dark Chocolate Buttercream.
