My friends, I am sharing with you all part 1 of my video tutorial on how I made some of the BAUBLE CAKES shown on the photos above. Italian Cream Cake
This is the best recipe for this cake I have ever tried. We eat it without icing all the time. It is just that good. Made some cupcakes just today. Mmmmm :)
INGREDIENTS
2 CUPS SUGAR
1/2 CUP SHORTENING
1 STICK BUTTER
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup wesson oil
3 cups carrots
5 eggs (separated)
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1-2 cups pecans

Last year for Thanks Giving i wanted to try something different. You know you always make pumpkin and apple pie. Well i would say this is better than pumpkin pie by far.

I had posted these previously in a forum where someone was searching for a moist vanilla cupcake recipe, but thought I’d re-post in the “official” recipe section to make it a little easier to find ;)
