DF asked me to bake cupcakes for the women in human resources (to thank them). With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner I thought they should be decorated for the occasion. I was inspired by, of all things, a 21 century insurance commercial. Hi: I am new to cake and cupcake baking. Could someone give me some advice as to how long cupcakes will stay fresh. If I bake them on a Thursday for example would they stay fresh if they are iced and put in a box for a party for Saturday. I could use the same info for a cake as well. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have plans later on this year for a far more detail on the 2 doll cakes I experimented with.. but as I have been asked many times for this, here is just a mini version of Oliver, which may help give some insight towards inspiring you to give it a go.. it really is very simple to make if time-strapped (as I was ) and only took a day :)
