I use cookies instead of the cake and i use royal icing to cover it that’s why i called it cookie pop. It’s easy to make and you can use anykind of cookie and marmalade :) Hope you like it.

What is Brush Embroidery?It is a decorative technique used in sugar craft art. A paintbrush is stroked through royal icing leaving behind brush strokes which resemble stitching in fabric. It looks so beautiful and effective and it is not overly time consuming, what could be better!

This “Series” of blogs has to do with giving. Giving to others seems to be a “thing” for me :) I decided when I started baking that it couldn’t always be about money. Money tends to take the fun out of things anyway. We worry about prices and what we should charge and how much our “time” is worth and on and on. Well what have I been upto these past couple of days? The answer making Xmas elves for my daughter Xmas fair. I found the idea on the pink whisk website they looked fab. I had everything in already to make them so didn’t really cost anything. First I made the sugar cookie dough ad cut them out with a love heart cutter which made 2 elf heads as you cut them in half.
