I need a Banana Cherry Cake Recipe!!!

415 days ago by funfetti | 4 comments »

Hi, bakers, if anyone has a cherry/banana cake recipe that you’d like to share, PLEASE, post it – you’ll be helping me out of a jam (no pun intended). I just got an order for a Mother’s Day cake and the client wants a white cake with a cherry-banana filling. I’ve never done this combination – but I would think that a cherry filling is quite sweet and maybe a chocolate cake might be better… but since I’m not sure, I will welcome your recipes!...

Hope you get some help from it, click through the pictures for instructions please :) The objective was to make an economical black coloured fondant – because here it is about $16 for 500 grams and I think thats a terrible price… I begin with just 10 ordinary white marshmallows (cheaper ones work b...

Light and Fluffy Vanilla Cake

190 days ago by veenaartofcakes | 4 comments »

The recipe is very easy to make and the reason I call it light and fluffy is because the beaten stiff egg whites adds enough air that the cake is so soft, it almost melts in your mouth. Makes Two x 9 inch round cakes each 2 inch tall or One 9×11 inch sheet cake. Ingredients 400 grams / 4 cups – cake flour 325 grams / 1 1/2 cup – fine granulated white sugar 280 grams / 1 1/2 cup – unsalted Butter or 250 grams / 1 1/4 cup veg Shortening 5 l...

This is my all time favorite Chocolate cake. It’s a dense and rich, not light and spongy. Perfect for any Chocoholic. I personally prefer it with Chocolate Ganache. If you notice I have given you two different methods to make it.The first method will give you a slightly more lighter cake, andThe second lazy method will give you a slightly less light cake. Both are equally delicious. And I’ve tired both method . Makes one 9” cake layer about 2 inch tall Or two 7” ...
