On A Mission #2: Baylee's Cookies

115 days ago by KelilahsKreations | 2 comments »

https://www.facebook.com/PrayersForBaylee There’s a link above for beautiful Baylee. I hope people are inspired to stop by and pray for this precious little girl. I haven’t met her but that doesn’t matter. She’s important and precious, beautiful and worth every effort we can all give to pray or act on her behalf. This week I didn’t have a cutter for the design she’d like… so I downloaded a few pictures of Hello Kitty and chose a few. I drew ...

On A Mission #1: Prayers for Baylee

122 days ago by KelilahsKreations | 2 comments »

This “Series” of blogs has to do with giving. Giving to others seems to be a “thing” for me :) I decided when I started baking that it couldn’t always be about money. Money tends to take the fun out of things anyway. We worry about prices and what we should charge and how much our “time” is worth and on and on. Pretty soon I feel indignant about those who don’t want to pay and discover that gem that rises up in me. I always come back to &#...

Bodice Tutorial

162 days ago by Callicious Cakes | 34 comments »

I have had some interest in “how to” on this cake, so here is a tutorial to help along the way. Then I covered with blue fondant that I previously had cut a pattern and did the same for the burgundy coloured fondant too. To save time, I used a floral patchwork cutter to indent a pattern so I have an outline to follow fo...

172 days ago by Kirstie's cakes | 1 comment »

Well what a productive day :-) I’ve managed to get my 4 tier baked 2 vanilla Madeiras a 2 chocolate Madeiras and they all turned out fab. The best was yet to come. For the cake idea I have in mind I needed a light weight cake as a topper but the while surfing Facebook a fab site Shereen’s cakes & bakes put a post up about having used something called RKT for modelling some large penguins on a cake. Not having a clue what this was I started googling and found out it was butter ...
