Elmo rules her world, or should I say MoMo! At the Christmas parade in our main street the only man in red she was interested in was Elmo, as you can imagine, Santa was devastated and I have heard he is seeking professional counselling :( However, I digress, so Elmo HAD to be on her birthday cake! Now those of you who are Mums...

HOW TO MAKE AN ALL EDIBLE CASTLE CAKE The whole design is actually NOT my original. I have seen several versions of Castle Cakes online which I used as inspiration for this cake. I cannot specify one particular artist as this is not a copy of any actual cake design. As an example: I saw the carriage in a magazine – got the idea from that. The carriage is not an actually copy on the magazine and the maker of the cake was not specified. It was an ad for a fondant. So I improvised. Tow...
So for this topper I used styrofoam but you can use the same technique for a real cake with edible image. ;) I cut my styrofoam with a Hot wire using the template as my guide. https://www.facebook.com/verusca.walker#!/hotwirefoamfactory?fref=tsI use a sand block to smoothe my styrofoam and cream shortening to stick my fondant. And them I just cut the images from my template and glue it to the fondant with tylose glue. ;)It is easy quick and incredible effective.

Spotlight have them too and they are very cheap. ;) Around $3.00 each. Cool right ??? And they are perfect for making moulds and embossing. Fantastic!!!!!! Don’t forget you can use leftover fondant for make your moulds. ;)
