I love my job and would happily do it for free. Well actually there have been many times over the last few years when it almost has been but knowing it was a for a higher purpose, made it a no brainer. Should I make these 400 macarons for a new up and coming designer for her after party at the Spring/Summer Fashion Show?. HOW TO MAKE AN ALL EDIBLE CASTLE CAKE
The whole design is actually NOT my original. I have seen several versions of Castle Cakes online which I used as inspiration for this cake. I cannot specify one particular artist as this is not a copy of any actual cake design. As an example: I saw the carriage in a magazine – got the idea from that. The carriage is not an actually copy on the magazine and the maker of the cake was not specified. It was an ad for a fondant. So I improvised.

Ok I just dream of my cakes looking so tight like the ones from Bakermama. Do you guys have any tips for making my fondant more tight. I’m in Florida and I don’t know if it’s the weather but I feel my cakes still look like they have a little fat in the middle it drives me nuts!!!! Help!

Ingredients
- 4 liters whole milk (can also be used with 1 large package of powdered milk dissolved in 4 liters of water)- 2 pounds sugar- 1 teaspoon baking soda- 1 pinch salt- 2 cinnamon sticks

I got an email about a little girl who will turn 4 yo next week. If my The Heart Of A Cake Foundation could make a castle/princess cake for this poor little girl (sorry I can’t give any detailed information about her situation).

I was showing Sydney a two tone royal icing brush embroidery (that is a mouthful), and she thought the cookies would be a wonderful dessert to create for Mother’s Day. I must say I agree, the cookies would look exquisite in a clear top box with a blush pink ribbon. Hi, bakers, if anyone has a cherry/banana cake recipe that you’d like to share, PLEASE, post it – you’ll be helping me out of a jam (no pun intended). I just got an order for a Mother’s Day cake and the client wants a white cake with a cherry-banana filling.
I’ve never done this combination – but I would think that a cherry filling is quite sweet and maybe a chocolate cake might be better… but since I’m not sure, I will welcome your recipes!...
