I’d never even heard of minecraft until this customer requested it! I airbrushed the colours on this one.

Enjoyed doing this one although do wish I was a bit quicker at modelling!

This cake was for an elderly lady so seemed very strange to put a 21 on the top! Apparently this is her answer when she is asked her age! This was a 10” and 8” vanilla cake with a 6” fruit cake on top.

There’s a few things I would do differently next time but overall I love the effect this cake gives :) Inside is coffee cake with coffee buttercream.

Backdrop is airbrushed which was great fun, really enjoyed making all the detail for this cake :)

Time consuming but I was very pleased with these cupcakes :)

Bit of a strange one but really enjoyed making this cake :) The birthday boy loves golliwog toys and received a baby bearded dragon as a birthday gift so I just had to put it on the cake! The whole thing is chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and the golly and dragon made from fondant.

Gordon’s gin bottle. This had to be slightly bigger than I usually would have made it to fit the client’s portion requirements but I think it still worked! Label was hand painted.

My daughter is a huge glee fan and helped me design this cake for her 10th birthday :)

Note to self: Wear gloves when colouring sugarpaste red or you will look like a mass murderer ;)

Cake designed by my friend for her birthday. I found the patchwork butterflies very tricky to get onto wires but loved the overall effect :)

First time colouring Sugarveil and quite pleased how it turned out :)

I so loved doing this cake! All the fairy images are taken from gorgeous artwork by Claire Keay at jellypark and I had great fun painting them onto fondant :)

8” Fruit / 10” Chocolate / 12” Vanilla Sponge with rose petals and gumpaste rose spray. All designed by the bride.

I got a bit stuck for inspiration once the buttons were attached to this cake and was tempted to leave the rest plain but I finally decided on a flapper style band around the top tier and I totally love it :)

I was given a picture by the customer to use for this cake so thanks to the original maker! Loved doing all the little details on this cake as I really enjoy novelty cakes :)
