I am a military wife and have been stationed at multiple bases around the world. I started baking about 10 years ago for fun, it started with mainly European desserts (as I am from the UK). We got relocated to the States for the first time (for me and my then 2 yr old son) and I needed a new hobby due to being by myself so much. I fell in love with french and Italian pastries and gourmet cakes and desserts. I came to realize that others loved my desserts as much as my family did. Therefore, I decided to see if I could make a business out of it. I started Cake decorating due to the amount of requests I was getting in 2010 when we were stationed back in the UK and I learned by teaching myself with videos and books. I love it so much I wish I had started sooner, there is no limit with cake and I love how creative something you eat can become.
