I made this cake for one of my regular customers, for her daughters first birthday.

Phew, this took me over a week of work to complete. It was very tiring, but I’m so happy with it :)

These cupcakes were made for my Valentines class in Feb ‘13.

This cake was commissioned as a surprise for the happy couple. They were getting married yesterday and didn’t want their wedding to be very wedding like. So I was asked to create a Christmas themed wedding cake for them.
The bride cried, I hope it was good tears LOL

I made this cake for a couple that wanted a surprise for their guests. The front of the cake had to fit with their wedding themes and the back was to be hidden from view until the cake was turned around.
I’m actually really pleased with both sides of this cake.

I made this cake for a little girls first birthday.
It’s handpainted to look like the evening sky. With small fluffy clouds and stars. On top is a large smiling star sitting on a bed of clouds.

I more or less came to the rescue with this cake. The customer was let down by her baker, and then when trying to get someone else to do the order for her, she was turned away because they only do pretty cakes.
So very glad they did because this is right up my street. I would have loved this when I was 18 :D
The cake is vanilla with buttercream coloured red, so that it looks like blood. :D

I made this cake for a little boy, who wanted a Lion for his Birthday. I hope the cake helps to cheer him up when he realises he isn’t going to get one. What a cool kid though lol

I love this cake, mainly because as a kid I loved Garfield and Odie and would spend hours drawing them. It was just a shame it came at a time when I was ill with a sinus infection. Hopefully I’ve done it justice though!

Summer Garden themed cupcakes

This cake was made for a boys 13th birthday. There was a long list of his favourite things that I had to incorporate into the cake and I tried to do it so that it all gelled together.

This cake was made for a little girls 5th birthday. It originally started out as a single tier, but the customer needed more portions so the day before delivery I added a second tier and finished the decorations.
