Hi all !!!
Here is a quick little tutorial on an easy and fast way to make Alphabet ( or any other type) of blocks. It’s fast and you don’t have to worry about things drying and you save on fondant. Be sure to use shortening for glue and NOT vodka. As any water or vodka dissolves the sugar cubes completely.
The font is so hard to see because I put this together on my iphone. So here are the instructions in case you can’t read it.

makes 2×12” cakes aprox 2” high, a very moist cake that is easy sliced, gorgeous texture, actually better 2 days after it has been baked

I used sugarveil for the first time last weekend. I found it quite easy to do.
Fix mix as per the instructions. I left this to sit for about 1/2 hour and then i was eager to use it.
Lay your mat on a flat board as it will be easier to move to leave it somewhere to dry.
When you are ready give the sugarveil a bit of a stir as it goes sort of “marshmallowy” once its been sitting.

The recipe is very easy to make and the reason I call it light and fluffy is because the beaten stiff egg whites adds enough air that the cake is so soft, it almost melts in your mouth.

This recipe was the sweet treat that my mom used to fill cream puffs with. When I started making cakes, I tried using it as a filling and it was a hit with my husband and family, so I’ve been using it for that purpose ever since. It is not overly sweet and when paired with a white or vanilla cake it gives just the right balance of smooth vanilla flavor. This is my first time doing a tutorial, I hope you guys like and it find it helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions.
First, you will need some materials- fondant- a ball tool- foam pad- rose petal cutter (or any oval/round petal cutter would work)- veining mat
