Having been told not to play with my food while growing up: I now make it my lives work to confuse and delight all the senses, using food as an art medium my artist flair and high impact works of art are designed to get people talking
Apparently I have a bubbly personality (well I do laugh a lot) and delightful Scottish accent! I am a pastry chef , cake decorator, multi-gold medal winning sugar artist and Best in Show at Cake International 2014 London
As the owner and director of Totally Sugar I have worked hard to build an impressive client list, from Harrods to HRH Queen Elizabeth II, from large corporations to the couple next door. I am also incredibly proud to be the team leader for the current holders of the Guinness Book
of World Records – world’s largest cake a whopping 10m x12m for Make A Wish Childrens Charity
During my career I have rubbed shoulders and worked alongside celebrities stretching from the show business world to TV chefs and personalities, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Eric Lanlard, George Michael and many many more. If we ever meet I have a stack of fantastic stories and funny anecdotes.
Although the bulk of my work is commissions for commercial PR & Media clients my other love is in teaching and demonstrating the skills of cake decoration and sugarcraft, something that is seeing me traveling further and further afield and something that brings wonderful students and fellow decorators into my life x
