Chocolate cake with buttercream icing

All made from marshmellow fondant with a tad of gumpaste. I wish I knew who made the originals, I was given a picture. I hope I did them justice.

Chocolate footballs, chocolate covered strawberries, all buttercream except Razorback ears and eyes, and goal lines at the end of the cake.

Buttercream and fondant

This is my take on a cake by Shockley’s Sweet Shop. Mine is all Buttercream, Chocolate Buttercream and Ganache. Chocolate dipped strawberries to make little tuxes, and sugar flowers from a Craftsy class I purchased. I piped the white side with different designs on each tier.

The antlers are made from a clothes hanger washed of course, then covered with aluminum and melting chocolate. The rest is just a 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla cake, covered with buttercream and candy eyes and fondant nose. He appears to have swallowed a cake, but I still thought he turned out pretty cute for my grandson.

This cake was inspired by a cake on cakecentral I saw made by Becky, profile name momtobtb. This was alot of fun to make. My ball needed help though.
