Chocolate & Strawberry Cake

This was a fun little cake for a fun little one’s second birthday!

I loved making a buttercream cake with a rough texture and a fantasy flower to match the bride’s burlap/coral theme!

I was asked to make a cake for our favorite Mexican Restaurant’s grand opening celebration. The Chamber of Commerce would be there for the ribbon cutting. I decided to make something different from the plain ole sheet cake. Each taco & burrito could be taken off the “plate” and sliced up separately from the base cake. All items were cake or icing and all edible.

The look on their faces was priceless!

Al she wanted was a crawfish cake for the family birthdays. I had a blast working on this cake. All edible!

The client asked for pink, grey, an elephant and chevron. She let me go from there. I love creative liberty!

This little man only likes Batman, Ironman and Spiderman and his mom didn’t want a big cake. I came up with the idea to make it like a comic book.
