This cake was for my nephew Aaron, he is just mad about Dinosaurs, and his favourite one is the Alllosaurus. He is also crazy about Jurassic Park, so I tried to incorporate them both, putting Aaron’s name as the Jurassic Sign as that would really tickle him. He loved his dinosaur so much he refused to eat him!!!

This is a handpainted woodland theme christening cake, I really loved painting this cake once I got over the initial nerves lol. Its a madegascan vanilla bean madeira cake with milk chocolate ganache and fondant topped. All figures hand made and edible. Really enjoyed this cake :)

This cake was for a lovely lady about to turn 70. It was a surprise from her family. At first they were trying to think of how to incorporate a bit of everything that she likes into the one cake and Crosswords kept coming up, but after we had talked for a while we fell upon the fact that she loves her bling!! lol. She is quite famous for her jewels and earrings. She love’s the colour pale yellow so I added a pretty peony. They were delighted with the finished product. Karen x

First birthday cake for a really cute little baby, who turned 1 this weekend. I copied her dress that she was wearing to her party from a photo, she is such a pretty baby I couldn’t do her justice trying to copy her face so I did a dolly cartoony version of her.

Oisin’s mam gave me a picture of her favourite stripey blanket. Which had blues, browns and beige in stripes. She asked me could I come up with a design around this. This is what I came up with. Cute teddies holding the letters of Oisin’s name, each with their own little personality. Cute converse on the top and horizontal stripes on the base. With a button of love <3 Really enjoyed this cake xxx

Everything hand made and 100% edible. Tree trunk is 8” White chocolate mud cake with a middle layer of raspberry cake and white chocolate ganache. Mad Hatter Hat is double height 6” rich chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache and caramel layers covered in caramel ganache. Clock and food tray are made from fondant. Cheshire cat is RKT covered in fondant and hand painted. Ella’s favourite Artist/Director is Tim Burton, Thats why the love heart says EJ + TB. Happy 14th Birthday to my darling girl xxxxx

This cake was for twin girls Katie and Sarah, who are both very different personalities. Sarah loves her sport and running, the colours green and yellow, The Dubs, and her converse, I made her a Gaelic Football. Katie loves shoes, make up, bags etc and her favourite colours are pink and purple. They own a navy polka dot suitcase. I tried to catch both personalities in the one cake x

I was asked to do something different for this christening cake, so I got the lady to send me a picture of her favourite outfit that Jamie wears and his favourite toy, and this is what I came up with. This is a delicious rich chocolate cake, filled with vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache. It stand just under 6” tall! I really love how the colours came out on this cake, and the kiconico mouse toy is something cute and different :)

This bright and funky cake was for a glamorous girl turning 40, the brief was pink, loves to dance and go clubbing, her nickname is Tina Tango and she has a fantastic personality and loves shiny glittery things too lol. I had great fun doing this cake :)

3 Tier Wedding cake in this seasons colour Mint. Middle mint tier has both white and mint ruffles pulled together with small buttons, the top tier is topped with a hand made mint and white stripey large bow made from modeling paste.

Double height chocolate biscuit cake covered in ganache and then fondant. All hand painted and hand crafted. Loved this cake! The shimmer of pearlescent spray really gives a good frosty look. This was a 21st Cake for a guy who spent his summer in the USA working in Ben & Jerry’s so it was very apt!!

This pretty cake was for a lady turning 100 years old!!! I wanted to do an elegant design for the main cake and the cupcakes to accompany it were scenes from her life that she loves, she loves to read, still knits, used to keep chicken and ducks and loves to sit in the sunshine :) It was a coeliac chocolate mud cake, double height.

I wanted to do something different for halloween this year, so decided to do my take on Frankenweenie the movie. Had great fun with these.

This cake was for two gorgeous 16 year girls, identical twins. They are very keen actors, and love musical theatre, Phantom of the Opera and Wicked being two of their favourites :)

This is for a lovely lady who’s not only celebrating her birthday but also her retirement. Its has a bit of everything from her life. The suitcase because she is going to do a lot more travelling now, she worked for Garda HQ for 19 years (the hat), her favourite tipple is Vodka, she likes playing cards (the numbers are significant), she loves her angels and reads angel cards, and she used to be a seamstress. Her favourite Karaoke song is Baby Jane by Rod Stewart :)

Volkswagon Campervan, for 30th wedding anniversary. Was asked to have a pidgeon on the top of the cake as that is a pet name for one of the recipients and a guitar too. Loved making my 1st campervan :)

This is my version of my woodland theme christening cake but this time for a boy. I was dying to try out Pinwheels, and love the way the stripes, spots and checks turned out.

This is my Garter and corset cake, with handpainted leopard print and little rosettes.

Turquoise ombre frills, with handmade hand painted tea cup and saucer on top with handmade Sunflower, the ladies favourite colours and favourite flower :) The cake was chocolate mud cake, for coeliac.
