This is a cake I made for my sons birthday, he is starwars mad. It was my first attempt at a spherical cake and I can definitely say it wont be my last. the first thing my son did was bite off Darth Vaders head!!!

I have been wanting to do a gardening cake for what seem like forever, so when i was asked to do this one I jumped at the chance. I really loved doing this cake as it had all the techniques I love about caking:- figure modelling, flowers and airbrushing.

I made this spiderman cake for my son’s birthday last weekend. he loves spiderman and proceeded to pull his head off and eat it. Its a good job it was made of rice crispies rather than all icing.

I made this cake for a little girl who was turning 9. She really loves ‘The Wanted’ and could name them all.

I made this cake for a lady doctor whose passion is playing the piano.

This cake took me a long time to do but I loved every minute and was pleased with the final look.
