This cake such a soothing cake to make…a bit of hard work trying to get everything straight but i loved making it. Summer’s mom wanted a Japanese doll so first thing that came to my mind is soothing colors and flowers…the rest of the design unfolded as i continued to work:)

This cake was done for a 3 times returning customer:) She wanted to surprise her sister on her birthday and I had the pleasure of designing her this cake. I just love when my clients give me the freedom to pick colors and design it as I please…i guess it brings out the best in you:D

A lot was involved including modeling with gum paste, modeling chocolate, air brushing and painting!! Loved making this cake so much!!!

Bottom Tier: Vanilla with vanilla buttercream filling and wrapped in white chocolate ganache.

Top Tier: Dark forest with dark chocolate ganache:)

I had so much fun making this cake:) It’s such a fun and whimsical cake I didn’t even feel the time spent on it:) Yet again, I loooove ladybugs and my favorite color is red:p

The mini cupcake was a request for little lulwa…I thought that was a cute request…so lulwa can have her cake and eat it, too!!!

My love for scrapbooking lives on!!! As many of you may already know, I was a scrapbooker before getting into cake decorating. I was given the liberty to do whatever I wanted as long as I portrayed Amani’s love for music and her picture:) The colors were actually inspired by my love for vintage things:)

I had the pleasure of making this Paris theme for someone who was living in Paris for a while. She requested matching cupcakes, cookies and pops but I didn’t take as many pics of the cookies and cupcakes. The topper was made from gumpaste and black accents from modeling chocolate which I totally love!

Done for a chef who loves baking!!! I can say that because I LOVE baking and cooking, I kind of lived this cake:p Loooooved making it so much! Everything is 100% edible. Flour and piping bag are red velvet and main cake is white velvet with chocolate mousse:D

I’ve seen a few various versions of this cake but I think the original idea comes from Creative Cakes by Julie. Colors all inspired from my baking tools:)

Made for a boy who loves “ONE PIECE: cartoon show. This cake was a bit more challenging than anticipated:p I was so excited in getting the challenge but when the going got tough, i panicked :p

Lots of lessons learned and one of the most important of all is to advise anyone attempting a boat is to assemble the sail at the party scene as mine cracked a tad with the car movement::(

But overall, it turned out great and I delivered it in ONE PIECE ( pun intended):p
