I have to say I was SOOO proud of this cake. (I was really worried about the structure and getting all the details just so) The “mushroom stem” is a 6” cake dummy that was carved and the “mushroom cap” is (3) 8” cakes. My customer wanted a Smurf Mushroom house and Smash Cake for her son’s 1st birthday. She had her own smurfs which she added at the party.

(The bottom portion of the mushroom has luster/petal dust and it glitters so nicely…it’s just hard to pick up in the picture)

This birthday cake was designed for a special lady. “Joli” is a community service teacher at my step-daughter’s school. She teaches the kids the importance of giving back.

The seed packets represent the things she teaches the kids: Love, Respect & Education. TFL!!

This design was for a BFF of one of my dear customers. The birthday girl is turning 40 and LOVES Aerosmith. The request was for the Aerosmith logo on top and lyrics from Sweet Emotion written on the cake. BTW, the logo was all done by hand..cutting and shaping each letter. I sure hope she likes it!

This 3 tiered cake was designed to match my customer’s birthday invitation. Her daughter Gracie was having her first birthday! There was even a smash cake to match :-)

Chicago Bears cake with a “Super Fan” from the ol’ Saturday Night Live skit….”Da Bears”. (Hopefully I’m not the only one old enough to remember that skit!)

Football is milk chocolate cake and the grassy field is butter/vanilla. Thanks for looking!

These were made for the Westie Rescue Group in Middle TN. My friend is a member of the organization, so we wanted to come up with something special for her to take to their semi-annual meeting. Vanilla/Butter cupcakes with fondant Westie puppies :-)

This was for a special graduate. Her uncle said she loves all things pink/purple and as girly as possible so I came up with a shopping bag with jewelry and cosmetics. I sure hope she loved it as much as I loved making it! Thanks for looking!

Chattanooga Police Badge for a young man who is graduating from the academy today. Double layer chocolate cake. All of the details on the cake are hand carved and molded including the eagle, then airbrushed. The smaller gold details were hand painted. A lot of work but I really enjoyed it!

My son Michael celebrated his 16th birthday in Sept! One of his gifts was a guitar so I made a cake to match. The cake is vanilla/butter (his fav) and covered in fondant which was airbrushed then finally fondant accents added. He gave me a big hug and had a huge smile on his face so I’m pretty sure he liked it :-) (You know how 16 yr old boys don’t get too excited about anything :-)

My customer wanted a Hot Pink/Lime Green, Lady Bug themed cake for her daughter’s 1st birthday. So this design is based on several other cakes I’ve seen online. Vanilla/Almond cake (10” & 8” tiers). The lady bug body was carved from a double layer 7 1/2 inch oval pan and the head is fondant.

I really enjoyed making this cake and since I got to attend the party, it was AWESOME getting to hear everyone’s comments about it :-)

My client said her son and her new husband (son’s step-father) had a hard time connecting with each other at first. But the new husband (step-dad) gave her son his baseball glove….that was the start of a beautiful relationship. So this cake is a replica of “the glove”. She was very insistant that she wanted the ball in the glove..not beside it….which posed quite a challenge for me….mostly trying to figure out the structure. You wouldn’t think having a ball in the middle would be that hard…but WOW! The cake is butter-vanilla and is carved from 2 9×13 cakes. Iced, covered in fondant and lots of airbrushing :-) TFL!!
