This was made for my friends surprise 30th birthday party. Everyone talked about how much it looked like him.

My first castle cake. My client provided the figurines. Long story short, the size changed a few days before the party and my balcony’s were already made so I had to make the best of it – even though they didn’t fit properly. And my gumpaste tiara broke so I quickly cut out a paper one. A lot of lessons learned which I hope to apply on my next attempt.

The client brought me the figurines and asked for a treasure map cake. Its a vanilla sponge with vanilla custard filling.

The maid of honour called me to make chocolates for the shower as a surprise to the bride. Each guest was given a chocolate rolling pin as a place card and the bride had the entire chocolate kitchen utensil set including an edible recipe for a happy marriage.

Bride and Groom sugar cookies. They were packaged in a box and placed on each plate at the reception.

The client found the original design from Pink Cake Box, and asked me to make something similar for her daughter’s baptism. It’s a strawberry sponge, with white chocolate buttercream and strawberry chunks.
