This sweet owl cake was for Adele’s 1st birthday. The theme involved sweet little owls, along with lots of pale pink and orange ruffles. I used orange fading to pink ombre ruffles on the bottom tier.

Lucy was celebrating her birthday at a pumpkin patch! The party included a hay ride, pumpkin painting and lots of candy! She also loves bright colors. To capture the theme, I created a 3 layer “hay bale” cake (with pink, purple and lime green cake). I topped it with a pumpkin that was made of orange cake, orange vanilla buttercream and orange fondant. It was fun on the inside and outside! Mom had very specific design requests for this gender reveal cake. She asked for the he/she with the onesie in between… and the polka dot borders. And instead of the usual pink or blue cake on the inside… she requested that the frosting be tinted blue or pink!

For Hardy’s 5th birthday, he wanted a BIG Hot Wheels cake! This cake was chocolate with vanilla buttercream and homemade MMF decorations. Everything was cake except the cars!!
